I was born at the Queen of Angels Hospital in 1949 and have lived in Los Angeles my entire life. I grew up in North Hollywood, (Valley Village),was an Eagle Scout, attended U.S. Grant High School and graduated from U.C.L.A. (go Bruins).
Throughout my entire life I have had a love affair with choral singing which continues to this day. I even married my church choir director from North Hollywood. (I now sing at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, wow, I really am Mr. Los Angeles) This hobby and part time work has allowed me to travel throughout the world and the United States. Thus I have experienced first hand many different countries, cultures and lifestyles.
My first job out of college was working in a paint factory in south east Los Angeles mixing and eye matching color for furniture production runs. Thirty years of my working life was behind the counter at Radio Shack. I have worked nearly everywhere in Los Angeles from Slauson and Crenshaw, to East Los Angeles and Canon Dr in Beverly Hills. I have managed retail stores and computer centers. I have listened to and filled the electronic needs of every type of person who lives in The City of the Angels. I am well read, a news junkie (2 newspapers a day) and developed a love of the Constitution and the wisdom of our founding fathers.
